Install Dusklight

Choose your platform and download the matching build. You must provide a dump of your own copy of the original game to play. Learn more.

Windows

Download and extract the release, then run Dusklight.

Windows

    Download the release for your device

    For most Windows PCs: Dusklight-vX.X.X-win32-x86_64.zip

    For Windows on ARM devices: Dusklight-vX.X.X-win32-arm64.zip

    Extract the release

    Right-click the downloaded file, choose Extract All, and keep the extracted folder somewhere you can find it later.

    Run Dusklight

    Open the extracted folder and run dusklight.exe.

macOS

Option 1: Download & Extract

    Download the release for your Mac

    For Apple silicon Macs: Dusklight-vX.X.X-macos-arm64.zip

    For Intel Macs: Dusklight-vX.X.X-macos-x86_64.zip

    Extract the release

    Double-click the downloaded file to extract it. You should get a Dusklight.app.

    Move or launch the app

    Drag Dusklight.app to Applications, or launch it directly from the extracted folder.

Option 2: Homebrew

    Install the cask

    Run brew install dusklight.

    Open Dusklight

    Open Dusklight from Applications.

Linux

    Download the AppImage for your device

    For most Linux PCs (including Steam Deck): Dusklight-vX.X.X-linux-x86_64.AppImage

    For ARM64 devices: Dusklight-vX.X.X-linux-arm64.AppImage

    Mark it executable

    From a file manager: right-click the AppImage, open Properties, and allow it to run as a program.

    From a terminal: chmod +x Dusklight-*.AppImage

    Run Dusklight

    Double-click the AppImage, or launch it from your terminal.

Android

    Download the APK

    For Android ARM64 devices: Dusklight-vX.X.X-android-arm64.apk.

    Allow the install

    Open the downloaded APK. Android will usually ask you to allow installs from your browser or file manager. The wording varies by Android version and device maker.

    Continue through Android warnings

    Google Play Protect and some manufacturers show extra warnings for apps installed outside the Play Store. Only continue if the APK came from the official Dusklight download above.

iOS

iPhone and iPad installs require AltStore or iloader, and have a dedicated guide.
