Dawnlight

Dawnlight is a Dusklight mod package that adds optional gameplay, controller,
aiming, boss, and HUD features for Twilight Princess.

Features

• Z item slot: bind a third item to Z, move Midna to the D-Pad prompt, and use the Z slot from the item wheel. The separate Dawnlight Touch UI option keeps the touch controls available when another mod providesthe third item slot.
• Improved item HUD support for extra item slots, including item icons, ammo, oil, bottle contents, and combine prompts.
• Aim Movement and Aim Mode settings with Vanilla, 3rd Person, and Cinema options.
• Touch and gyro aiming support for the modded aiming modes.
• Optional Bullet Time while aiming the Bow during a manual R jump, Flurry Rush after a perfectly timed evade, and a ranged Great Spin projectile.
• Shared Stamina meter for Bullet Time, Flurry Rush, Sprint and the Great Spin projectile, including compatibility with Lazy Tweaks stamina actions.
• Dark Link mode with a charge meter, temporary Magic Armor, Dark Link, White Link or Gold Link model swap, and doubled sword damage.
• Manual Shielding, R Jump and Sprint quality-of-life options.
• Revalis Gale by holding ZR after a Jump for at least 1 sec.
• Gliding with a Cucco or an original Glider with custom Texture support.
• ZR Arrow Modes: fire arrows and triple shot
• Dual Wield
• Intro Skip new-save mode, enemy HP scaling.
• Hard Mode Settings with separate Regular Enemy and Boss Hard Mode settings.
• Boss Rush Game Mode with the Garden of Twilight hub, individual boss portals, a complete-run portal, Cave of Ordeals access and a original Hero's Shade Boss fight
• Cave of Ordeals Randomizer
• Enemy Spawner for some enemies. Work in progress.
• HUD Layout Editor for supported HUD elements, item/text/ammo offsets, button backing, D-Pad arrows and shadows, single-row hearts, round X/Y buttons, and HUD import/export.
• External custom model overlays for Link's outfits, Wolf Link, Sumo Link, the horse, items, animations, and shields, plus shield visibility and eye movement controls.
• Custom glider replacement: see DawnlightCustomGlider for an example of replacing the Glider model and its embedded textures with a separate .dusk overlay mod. Enable it alongside Dawnlight and restart the game. The repository also includes editable model and texture source files.
